Bella Coola is a dramatically beautiful and wild valley, situated right in the heart of The Great Bear Rainforest of Coastal British Columbia, Canada. It is said to be known as “The Grizzly Bear Capital of Canada”, making it an ideal place to marvel and watch these incredible animals. Each year thousands of Salmon run through the Bella Coola and Atnarko Rivers, offering an ample amount of rich protein to The Bears to ensure a good fatten up before their long winter hibernation.

It is quite an experience to view these guys in their natural environment, while they snorkel, snort, rip open and devour the Salmon and swim down the rivers……
